Boys 5/6 Soccer Takes on Norwell

On Saturday, October 4, the Hull Boys 5/6 Soccer team faced a tough challenge against Norwell. Despite putting up an admirable fight, the team lost with a score of 3-2. Liam Palermo showcased grit by netting both goals for Hull, demonstrating his role as a key player for the team. On the defensive end, Enki Mundo and Owen Bilodeau performed admirably, holding their ground and supporting the midfield. A special shout-out goes to North Saforrian, who made his debut as goalie and managed to keep a clean sheet in the second half, which undoubtedly lifted team spirits. The boys will take a break this weekend, returning to the field on Saturday, October 18, at Hull High School for a matchup against Marshfield at 2 p.m.


Girls 5/6 Soccer Stages a Comeback

In a thrilling display of teamwork and perseverance, the Hull Girls 5/6 Soccer team battled back from a half-time deficit to secure a 4-2 victory against Marshfield on October 4. After trailing 2-1, the entire team rallied, with standout performances from forwards Magnolia Harbin and Emma Medina, and defenders Leah Dibley, Laila Dolan, and Hadley Dolan. Willa Britton had a stellar outing, scoring two goals, while Frankie Rockett contributed another goal and even took on the role of goalie. This spirited win not only showcased their skills but also solidified their bond as a team.


Hull Pirates Youth Basketball Registration Now Open

Attention basketball enthusiasts! Hull Pirates Youth Basketball is gearing up for its travel program, inviting boys and girls in grades 3-8 to register. The season kicks off in late November, but be mindful that registration closes on October 31. Families are encouraged to ensure their players are signed up as soon as possible by visiting Hull Basketball Registration. This is an exciting opportunity for young athletes to develop their skills and engage in a competitive environment.


No In-Town Soccer Games This Weekend

This weekend marks a break for Hull Youth Soccer’s in-town programs, as there will be no games on Saturday. The in-town season will resume on October 18, with games scheduled at the Dust Bowl field in Hull Village. For easy planning, here’s the ongoing weekly schedule:

  • Guppies (coed): 9-10 a.m.
  • Kindergarten (coed) and Girls Grades 1 & 2: 10-11 a.m.
  • Boys Grades 1 & 2: 11 a.m. to noon.

Make sure your young athletes are ready to return to the field!


Hull Youth Football in Action This Sunday

The Hull Youth Football teams are ready for action this Sunday, October 12, at the West Bridgewater Middle/High School field. The Mites (C Squad) will kick things off at 10 a.m., followed by the Midgets (A Squad) at 11:30 a.m., and the PeeWees (B Squad) wrapping up the day’s events at 1 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out and support our young football players as they take the gridiron.


Hull High Pirates Varsity Football Update

In last Friday’s Homecoming game, the Hull High Pirates Varsity Football team faced KIPP Academy and, unfortunately, fell short with a score of 40-10. However, the team will have a chance to bounce back this Friday as they host Cathedral High School under the lights at 7 p.m. It’s a great opportunity for students and fans alike to show their support and rally behind the team as they push for a win.


Hull High Girls Varsity Soccer Performance

The Hull High Girls Varsity Soccer team experienced a mixed week, losing 5-3 to East Bridgewater on Monday before rebounding to defeat Middleborough, 3-2, on Wednesday. With a current record of 4-4-2, they are gearing up for two important games—first against Carver on the road on Tuesday, October 14, at 4 p.m., followed by a home match against Cohasset on Thursday, October 16, at 5:30 p.m. (with JV starting at 4 p.m.).


Upcoming Home Games for Boys Varsity Soccer

The Boys Varsity Soccer team is also preparing for a busy week ahead with two home games scheduled. They will face West Bridgewater on Friday, October 10, at 4 p.m. and Carver on Tuesday, October 14, at 5:30 p.m. Following these, they will hit the road to play against Cohasset on Thursday, October 16, at 4 p.m. These matches are crucial as the players continue to develop their skills and teamwork.
