Hello Woodlands, in partnership with Operation Pets Alive (OPA), highlights a “Pet of the Month” that features a local dog or cat available for foster and/or adoption in Montgomery County, Texas. Operation Pets Alive is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization striving to elevate Montgomery County to a No-Kill community through innovative programs that raise community awareness, reduce the number of dogs and cats that enter our shelters, and increase the number of dogs and cats that leave our shelters alive.
For our Pet of the Month, we are excited to introduce you to Biscuit!
Meet Biscuit
“That is such a nice dog!” – a phrase you’ll hear from everyone who meets Mr. Biscuit.
Approximately one year old, Biscuit is a sweet, gentle soul who’s never met a stranger. He greets every person with a happy tail wag and a soft nuzzle, always hoping for a little affection (or a lot!).
Biscuit is particularly wonderful with children and has become a total hit among his foster sister’s second-grade friends. He happily lets each child take a turn walking him — embracing all the attention with a wagging tail. With his naturally submissive and easygoing temperament, Biscuit gets along beautifully with other dogs and enjoys friendly playtime. He is a regular at Houndstown doggy daycare, where he thrives during his weekly romps, happily playing with dogs of all sizes and personalities.
Simply put – Biscuit is the full package:
- ✔️ Sleeps through the night in his crate
- ✔️ Knows how to use a doggy door
- ✔️ Fully potty trained
- ✔️ Leash trained and walks politely with no pulling
- ✔️ Rides great in the car
- ✔️ Affectionate, gentle, and eager to please
