One of the most significant changes is in navigation. Users now have the ability to pin up to 20 apps, a substantial increase from the previous limit of six. This addition simplifies access to frequently used applications, making for a more personalized experience. Furthermore, a long press on the Home button will now reveal a quick-access menu, streamlining the journey to settings and features.

This update will roll out for free, beginning with newer Fire TV devices before gradually expanding. Starting in February, devices like the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus and Fire TV Stick 4K Max will receive the update first, with plans to reach more countries and products by spring.

New Native Nvidia GeForce Now App: A Game-Changing Addition

In an exciting addition for gamers, Amazon is integrating a native Nvidia GeForce Now app into Fire TV, scheduled for early 2026. This cloud gaming service allows users to play high-quality games without the need for a console, given they have a stable internet connection. This 4K QLED TV boasts a slim 1.5-inch profile and supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Wi-Fi 6, providing a solid technical foundation for high-quality viewing. The matte screen is designed to minimize reflections, making it an attractive option for displaying artwork and photos, effectively blending into home decor.

Importantly, while it supports HDR formats, it remains an LCD television at its core. Thus, it may not match the contrast and brightness levels offered by premium OLED or high-end Mini-LED TVs, such as those from LG or Samsung.

The Art Experience: A Standout Feature

What sets the Ember Artline apart is its focus on digital art. Users will gain access to over 2,000 free artworks, alongside integration with Amazon Photos. The TV even offers a feature that suggests artwork based on the environment of the room, adding a personalized touch. You can rely on Alexa+ to help curate slideshows or bring up specific memories, enhancing the overall user experience beyond traditional TV viewing.

The Ember Artline will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch models, set to launch later this spring in the US, Canada, Germany, and the UK, with prices starting at $900.
