Rechat has integrated AI technology into its platform, unveiling its virtual assistant, Lucy. This AI assistant can handle numerous tasks for agents, drastically reducing the time typically spent on mundane tasks. For instance, it can generate a marketing website in mere seconds, a feat that would have previously taken weeks and thousands of dollars. The internal mantra at Rechat has become, "We went from 90 days to 90 seconds," highlighting the efficiency boost that AI provides.

Historically, agents who were successful could afford to hire personal assistants to manage their workload. However, not every agent has the resources to do so. AI democratizes this capability, allowing all agents access to assistive technology that was once reserved for a select few, thereby lowering the learning curve for newcomers and enhancing the overall client experience.

Despite the advantages AI offers, Hamidi acknowledges that the current real estate market presents challenges. Issues such as low inventory, high interest rates, and legal pressures are making it tough for agents to thrive. “We’re in a very tough market,” he explains, highlighting that competition has intensified and requires a more strategic approach than in years past.

The era where part-time agents could sustain a living is gone; today’s market demands focus akin to training for a marathon.
