The newly acquired villa, while structurally sound, hadn’t seen a modern touch in years. The couple relished the opportunity to infuse their design ethos into the renovation. “We were buzzing with ideas!” Vicky muses about their initial excitement. The existing layout of the house featured rooms segmented by a long wall, which they decided to reconfigure. Their vision included a single-storey extension that would merge these divided rooms into a vast, inviting family space, complete with a modern kitchen and utility area.

Vicky and Gareth’s journey was met with the inevitable chaos of a major renovation, especially with a lively toddler in tow. They initially began renovating simpler areas, such as the living room.
